The farmhouse Borgo Macereto, in the Mugello area in Dicomano (Florence), is immersed in the greenery and silence of the wonderful hills of the Tuscan countryside, it is a unique occasion of accommodation both for spending moments of relaxation in a natural and comfortable environment, both to visit the wonders of this territory.

The area of the Mugello is the homeland of the powerful florentine Medici family and of great artists such as Giotto and Beato Angelico, it is a suggestive territory that at every step recounts centuries of battles and human toil, of ancient arts and crafts passed down from father to this day. Evidence of this is the sumptuous Medici residences such as Castelllo Del Trebbio and the Palazzo dei Vicari. In Mugello, a journey through Art Nouveau art will lead you past finely decorated churches and villas, all the way to the Chini Museum, which displays ceramics and frescoes by the renowned artist. Also highly recommended are visits to the many artisan knives-makers in Scarperia, where there’s also a museum dedicated to cutting tools ( Museo dei Ferri Taglienti), or the many artisan workshops producing excellent leatherwork, pietra serena stone, and yarn. The winery is located near the farmhouse in a recently renovated old farmhouse overlooking the surrounding landscape. The vineyards embrace it on three sides, framing this corner of the world nestled in the Mugello hills.
