Under the artistic direction of Franco Baggiani, fourteen concerts, between farms and squares in Valdisieve, under the banner of great jazz, accompanied by the tasting of the best wines and typical products of the area.
Jazz at the Farm. Music and wine in Chianti Rufina, curated by Maestro Franco Baggiani, creator and artistic director of the project, who will bring the notes of jazz to some of the most beautiful farms in the area and to the squares. Made by the Chianti Rufina Consortium, the Municipal School of Dicomano, Londa, Pelago, Pontassieve, Rufina, the Union of the Valdarno and Valdisieve Municipalities and the Municipalities of Pontassieve, Rufina and Dicomano, thanks also to the contribution of the Vicenza-based company Dal Lago TTC and of the BCC Pontassieve.
Marco tosi & street Ensemble are a jazz formation inspired by the African-American bands that animated the New Orleans Carnival in the early 1900s.
With their traditional jazz songs and a modern repertoire of rhythm ‘n blues and funky in the sunset light by the pool they will give us their sound in this beautiful early September evening surrounded by our vineyards and olive groves that will frame the event .
From 18:00, it will be possible to participate in the tasting of our organic Chianti Rufina and Igt wines, accompanied by tastings of local products.
